Preparation of Mining Plan

Mineral (Other than Atomic and Hydro Carbons Energy Minerals) Concession Rules 2016,

Chapter V: Preparation of Mining Plan and System of Certification 

Rule 15 ; Preparation of Mining Plan :- (1)  every mining plan under clause (b) of sub-section (2) of Section 5 ( of MMDR Act ) shall be prepared by a person having the following quallification and experience.

(a) A degree in mining engineering or a post graduate degree in geology granted by a university established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, A Provincial Act or a State Act including any institutioins recognised by the University Grants Commission under Section 4 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 (3 of 1956) or any equivalent qualification granted by any university or institute outside India and recongnised by Government of India and

(b) professional experience of five years of working in a supervisory capacity in the field of mining after obtaining the degree.

(2) Modification to a mining plan shall be carried out by a person qualified to prepare a mining plan
